Winterizing Question

First off, sorry for yet another winterizing thread. This is my first trailer so also my first time winterizing. I did look in the manual and did some searching but didn't find an answer to my question (maybe I didn't look long enough). Supposed to drop into freezing territory tomorrow so want to make sure I'm good to go. Here's what I have done (note I have never used the fresh water tank and it's empty):

- After last camping trip left low point drains open
- Pulled plug on hot water heater so it's empty
- Turned knobs so hot water heater is bypassed
- Used pump hose under sink to pull rv antifreeze in
- Went to all fixtures and let rv antifreeze flow
- Made sure all traps got rv antifreeze
- Pushed in check valve at city water connection to get rv antifreeze
- Turned off pump

So my question is, do I leave the rv antifreeze under pressure in the system or do I run a faucet to relieve the pressure? And blowing the lines wasn't an option this year. Will get a setup to do that starting next year. Thanks...

That all sounds good. If you have a black tank flush line, you will want to push some air through that line otherwise there will be trapped water in there that will freeze.

I would relieve the pressure in the system. Don't leave it pressurized.

Make sure your fresh tank is empty, and that there is some antifreeze in both the grey and black tank. I use 3 gallons when I winterize to make sure there is enough in each tank.

Make sure there is some antifreeze in your toilet bowl to keep the seal from drying out.

Take your battery off the trailer, bring it inside, and put it on a battery tender.

Put some steel wool in your furnace exhaust port to keep mice out.

Put some mothballs or rodent deterrent around the exterior of the unit and keep your stabilizers retracted.

Close your roof vents and put a couple containers of Damp Rid or equivalent dehumidifying crystals in there to wick moisture from the air.

Keep the nose of the trailer high so water runs off the rear and doesn't pool at the front seam.

MAKE SURE all food items and anything else that may attract critters are removed from the trailer.

Leave your fridge/freezer doors cracked or fully open to allow air to circulate.

I personally leave blinds/shades down.

Make sure your propane tank valves are shut off.

Lock the doors and the tongue and check on it every so often if you can.

Covering your tires might be a good idea if they will be in direct sunlight to prevent UV damage.

Did you remember to do the toilet too? and to put a little pink stuff down the drains too..
