X213 Sleeping/Mods?

Hello fellow X213ers. So, as great as the floorplan is for us. We are considering possibly changing or removing the jackknife sofa and building something more comfortable to sleep on... like a day bed which could still be used to sit on during the day.

We're a Family of 5 including 2 year old twins. What we did last season was set them both up in the rear slide with safety bars (more like a prison), to keep them safe. This worked well since their bedtime was earlier and we could do our business later in the evening at the front of the coach.

Next Spring however, I want that King back, or at least, a better sleeping option than that couch. Our 5 year old is happy, for now, with the top bunk, but I can see a need to lower both bunks to add more usable head space.

Or... should I just get a bigger 5er now and call it a day?

Curious to see what other people think...
