12v Water pump on regular 30 amp hookup

We have some areas where we can camp that have 30 amp power but no water hook up. I would like to use the water tank with the 12v pump if possible. Can I do this without buying a marine battery and hooking it up?

Would like to use the water tank and try it out.

I have a 2008 Jayco Jay Series 1007 model.

It will work just fine. The battery is only required when towing for the breakaway brake system and a tongue jack. Or when no shore power is available, obviously.

I keep my brothers camper in my driveway during the summer. I plug the 30A cord into my house and then put a few gallons of water in the tank. That way when I'm in my front yard or working on/in the camper I can use the camper bathroom instead of going inside.

Your converter takes some 110V feed and changes it to 12V to run all your 12V stuff when plugged in.
