1994 Jayco 1006 sink parts help

I contacted Jayco.com who told me to contact the local dealer, which I did via email because there were none near me...no response.

Bought our pup last year and the owner knew nothing about it, selling it for his grandparents.
I'm wondering what is supposed to go on the metal nipple part of the sink drain that is under the sink. When the galley is folded open the nipple sits in the drain area but it's not a snug fit by any means so I'm thinking there should be a flange or gasket of some sort.
Thanks!!

there is a thick black foam rubber gasket that should be there, attached to the bottom of the drain down pipe on the sink. Usually I can find just about anything on Amazon but so far came up empty on this.
I will say that it reminds me a little bit of the foam gasket that fits between the toilet tank and base on most toilets; you might be able to adapt one, but I think the toilet tank hole would be much bigger so would probably require some cutting down to fit it.
Hopefully someone else can chime in with a parts source for you.

Call Jayco Factory Parts Direct. I think the part number is:

0012959
WASHER,RUBBER (RUBBER DONUT) 2.75ODX.5IDX.63 THICK (FD FLIP KITCHEN DRAIN SEAL)

Don't take my word on the part number. They should be able to look it up.

I couldn't get the picture to copy and paste.

The parts manual can be found a this link:

http://www.jaycorvparts.com/catalog/...015Catalog.pdf

There is a picture of the part on page 17-7.

The website for Jayco Factory Parts Direct is:

Good Luck!

Can someone explain where exactly this foam gasket would go?

gasket

When your galley is open and the sink is upside down it fits right on the metal piece that come out of the sink...where the water drains. When you fold the sink on top of the counter area it should center over the drain area. My pup is closed otherwise I'd send a pic of mine. I may need to replace mine, it's old and the "nipple" part is metal however its got nicks in it so even with my gasket I was getting leakage!

Well that completely explains why I'm getting sink leakage. Mine does not have the nipple OR the gasket! Thank you so much for the photo. I see where I can order the gasket any idea where the nipple part can be ordered?
