1996 jayco 1206

I have a 1996 Jayco 1206 and the sink drain leaks. Where can I get a new gasket and does it really need to be there? Looks like the pipes will just fit inside each other. any help will be nice thanks

I don't know the specifics of your sink but like in the house, the gasket is there to create a better fit and help ensure a water tight fit. Not sure where you can find a new one but there's plenty of RV websites that have replacement parts. Or call a dealer near you and see if they can get you one.
