I have an Atwood 7916-II furnace in a Jayco popup. The furnace works fine as long as the voltage from the battery is above 11.6 volts (it sometimes works between 11.2 and 11.6 volts). The Atwood manual says it should work down to 10.5 volts. Is there likely a faulty part or is this typical?
I am checking the voltage where power comes to the furnace after the thermostat calls for heat. The voltage does drop a few tenths under the load of the fan but it's still in the 11.2 - 11.5 range when it stops trying to ignite.
