Broken in/out stove - 1 burner not efficient; also falling off of frame

Hello,

We have a 2008 Jayco 1207. It is awesome but the stove is acting up:

a. 1 burner is not burning efficiently and there's a strong propane smell when we use it.

b. the stove is encased in a particle board 'frame' (looks like it's embedded in a small laminate countertop) -- but recently the stove became detached from it in 1 corner. This is a problem when we want to take it outside and hook it to the exterior of the trailer.

Does anyone else have this problem? What did you do? Can a person get a replacement stove w/ the frame?

Thanks for your advice.

The burner is fixable. The issue most likely is a spider Web in the air mixing orfic. The tube needs to be cleaned.

The stove case, particle board is bad stuff, and when daged is hard to fix. If you take the stove top out to clean it. Look to see if you can add a piece of real wood behind the damage area, then use longer screws to tie it all back together.

Good luck

Some pine wood and glue will go a long way in fixing things. As said the burning needs cleaning and you're up and running with that.
