FYI, Rubbermaid 18 gallon totes fit GREAT inside the front area on the floor in front of the L-shape couch and in the doorway once popped down. I can fit about 6-8 of them pretty easy. It has really helped us pack/unpack.

What do you do with your travel door?? The manual says there is a hinge under the rear bunk, but mine does not have that. Do I just leave it mounted? That does work, it just gets in the way of getting in the storage bin and I'm not sure about leaving it exposed to the elements if my awning isn't setup.

I've got a 141J as well...

I've been looking for a roof mounted bike rack to go into the T- rails that are installed from the factory. What are using for a bike rack that I see in your pictures?

We love our 141J. Already had to replace the factory radio. The LED's went out and you couldn't read the display. If it happens to anyone else, just search Amazon for it. You can get it for about $35 and just have to use the detachable faceplate to get it working again.

I am missing a switch somewhere, after my last trip, my brand new battery had charge but when I open it up today I had no power. I made sure to that the two switches by the door and water pump switch were off before closing from last trip.

Was your fridge left on battery? I've also found that if you do not disconnect the battery it will run down just from the radio staying on. ALSO, my radio has an alarm that I didn't realize was turned on. It kept turning the radio on (volume was at 0) and running the battery down.

Still love my 141J!

Love our Big Betty

Good tips, all...thanks! We've had our 141j for 18 months and even took it on a cross-country trip...love her! Someone mentioned battery issues...we replaced our single RV battery with two golf cart batteries and haven't had an issue since. Love being "close" to nature, but with the convenience of a shower and toilet...and the roominess. Added AC (AZ, after all) and renamed her "Brrrr Betty." Has anyone had those plastic locking clips that hold up the bathroom walls break? What did you do? Apparently Jayco no longer has these and can't seem to come up a suitable alternative.
