Can You Put a High-arc Faucet In the Kitchen Sink?

Hello, I have a 1997 Jayco Jay series 1406 and wanted to know if I could change out the original kitchen faucet for a high-arc one to give more sink space; however, I do not know if the top will close down without damage. Does anyone have the answer to this? Thanks.

I know that amazon sells a phoenix brand high arc faucett that is 8'' high, at this point you would have to measure the distance once it is folded over. good luck

Our viking PUP had the following type faucet. It may be the same as Kelly was referring to. We had no issues with the top down. Just make sure you have a 4" span for the faucet.

Hope this helps.

My kitchen sink and cooking stove folds over for transport in my off-road POPUP trailer. You can see a board on the back side of the sink top which acts as a floor support when folded over.

I would think if you do not extend a faucet higher than this back support board you will be ok.

I would go look at the sinks available from LOWES and maybe change out the whole thing for something larger in foot print. I know my sink could be increased two-three inchs in diameter. I could make mine a double sink pretty easy . My sink would mount just like a home sink assy would mount.

The down side for me would losing some some very precious floor storage area under the sink cabinet assy when folded over. We POPUP guys needs all the floor storage space in transport mode we can muster...
