Dual hitch for Jayco Sport 10 and bike rack

Anyone have any history with this type of hitch? I want to be able to carry the bikes using my existing rack and the have the trailer hitched to the truck as well. Click image for larger version

I once bought that hitch for my popup. The problem I had (and so had to return it) was that the tongue jack crank handle was in the way, so I couldn't use that hitch. I am curious if I could use it on my 16XRB....kinda wish I had kept it.

I purchased this one (Walmart) because it looked a lot sturdier. Also, with the ball hitch inserted, it has a little more room (length). It works great. No problem with 5 bikes on the carrier and the pop up ...plenty of room between TV and PUP when turning.

Here is a pic of my "test" with the rack and my Jayco 10 trailer. Trailer clears good with the new hitch. My plan would be to hook the trailer to the TV first and then insert the bike rack. Even with the handle straight out I have enough clearance. Excuse the extreme brightness off of my head!

I purchased a Curt (model 45810... 7500lb). Cost a bit more than the amazon link, but I got it for a good price considering there aren't too many options I found in Canada.

Very interested to see how this works. I have a similar problem I would like to solve. Will the bikes interfere with the jack or gas tank when on the rack?

Do the bikes interfere with the battery and propane tanks?

Will they cause problems when turning? Especially when backing into a site?
