Fresh water tank

Hi , i just purchased a jayco pop-up model 1007 and it doesn't have the fresh water holding tank. I can only use the sink if i have a hose hook up directly. Im going to a park which only has water stations this year. Theres someone parting out a 1995 jayco model 1206. They have a holding tank with all the connections for sale, will it work in my trailer?they look identical from the outside. Thanks

We had an older model popup that you just put a 5 gallon jug under the sink with a water line to the manual pump. When it got low you just took it out and carried to a spigot or pump.

I would ask the vendor to measure the distance between the two frame rails in the bay the tank is mounted in, then measure yours (tank mounts in the frame section just aft of the axle). If the dimensions match it should fit (frame width is the same on both models). If the tank is a loose fit on his, you might just have him measure the tank and see if it will fit.

On our 1007 the pump was mounted in the cabinet just to the right of the galley, under the front U dinette. You will need to have a 12V connection there to power the pump, and there are a few new plumbing connections required.

Hmmm, the guy that has the tank said it sat under the bench seat. I didnt know it ran on an electric pump. I thought u pumped the facet with the handle on the side.

On our Jayco Dove there was a 10 gallon square poly tank under the left side dinette seat. The pump was a hand pump faucet. Good system no electricity needed.

Yes, the older ones had an inside tank. Newer models have a much larger FW tank under the floor between the frame rails. Back in the 90's it was probably the manual pump jug, sorry, missed the year of the donor pup.
