how to find model and year

I recently purchased a popup That has double on both ends But the Title is home madeI can't find the model number or yearThe plate has been removedSerial number has been altered on the tongue In the paper has been remove From inside the cabinet

A picture might help. Without the plate or any supporting paper work, the exact year and model will be an educated guess at best. And that's if someone recognizes features they've had in past popups.

Crawl around under the PU. Most likely you will find one. Start curbside near the bumper. There is at least one hidden one, if not more.

Any kind of numbers found may be helpful to get you on the road to finding out the model #. Look real good with a flashlight and wire brush.


I just had a trailer damaged in a wreck and was able to date it by a stamped steel plate 1/4 by 1 inch. The company that built it had a record of the chassis build from that number.
