Jay Series 1007 Roof Recall Failure

I bought a 2008 Jay Series 1007 from original owners about 2 years ago. By accident I put a hole in the roof. I had a local high end body shop do the repair work. I had researched his work and he did some really good work. So after about 1-1/2 years I noticed cracks where he did the repair. I took it to him and he noticed some other hairline cracks. He is now claiming complete roof failure. He says the paint job is too thin to crack like it is. I personally think his paint job has failed. I have never heard of roof failure on Jayco's. He said the roof was constructed from the same product that is used in shower tub surrounds.
How should I got about handling this?

Would Jayco warranty their roof?

Has anyone experienced the same issue with pop-up roof's?

He is suggesting I cover the roof with a rubber bed liner type of product that flexes.

Any thoughts suggestions.

I attached some pictures of before and after and the cracks.

Thanks,
Mike

Jayco and Starcraft pop ups are waranteed for life on certain components, but only the original owner. It's a long shot, but never hurts to ask.
