new owner of 1994 jayco eagle series 12. I have some questions

Hi We have a new to us 94 Jayco eagle series 2 pop up. It did not come with a battery. There is a plug on the tongue of the frame and we have a converter. What should I buy for a battery and how do I connect it?? owners manual online isn't much help. Also didn't come with propane tank and ours is to large.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give!!!

I have a 1998 12. The battery should be easy. Just hook red to the + terminal and - to the black or white wire. I'd have to look again. Get a deep cycle battery.

Just use a regular grill tank. That should be the right size.
