New to popups, gap on back end with popup down

I have a 1/2" gap where my roof and frame should meet up on the back end of my popup (it is snug on ends and opens up towards the center). Is this normal? Also the weatherstripping is loose and was wondering if anyone has an easy way to replace the stripping or improve it. My Jayco is 99 eagle SO. Also we had a small amount of water (with the unit setup) under what appears to be the back end of the roofing (front of bed). Any advise would be great. I am fairly handy and have already recaulked the entire unit. Also any luck with this new spray on rubber?

No that is not normal, it should sit tight the entire length around. You may want to consider purchasing an additional 2 top clamps and install them where it is not seating properly.

Can't help you with the seal. You may want to check with the local Jayco dealer

I have gaps on both ends where the bed flooring is pulled out and meets up woth the two outside walls. The original weather strips supplied just doesnt do it for me. You can look down there and see daylight on both ends.

My temporary fix was to get some of the 2-inch square window seals that you put into place when you install a house window unit. These are 36-ionchs long. the fit right into the gap just fine but it gripes me I have to do this this everytime I setup..

At night all kinds of bugs and mosquitoes come in thru the gaps...

Another fix someone suggest to me was to use some of the one inch split weather stripping. You cna open this up and it will slide right over the fixed wall pretty neat they tell me. Glue it is place.

My two walls have a built-in plastic roller in this area that supports the bed floor when it is pulled out. If you have this as well you will have to cut the slpit weather stripping to go around the roller. I was thinking some of the whisker brush material might work real good here where the roller is...

I am guessing this is where you are seeing daylight when you open up the popup and pull the tent beds out.
