Newbie question re: 1996 Jayco Eagle 8 SD and vinyl flap "thingy" attached to box

Hi Everyone, we are total newbies to pop up campers.....we used to own a little 13 foot Scamp. Two weeks ago, my hubby and I purchased a cute little 1996 Jayco Eagle 8 SD popup and we can't wait to take her on her maiden voyage. We've done a lot of little things.....caulking, seam sealing, greased the push rods, lubricated the winch, etc but we now noticed that the little narrow flap of vinyl that is attached to the box frame and is supposed to "seal" the camper from bugs after you pull out the beds, needs replacing. I noticed that I could see day light when I was sitting on the floor inside cleaning and looked under the bed frame. Gosh, I guess it is connected to the frame...or maybe the bunk....I'm not sure and I can't check now because she's not popped up. I was just going to purchase some pipe insulation to shove in there after we set her up each time but thought that it would be nice to buy an actual replacement strip of vinyl but I don't even know what you call it. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Hey John,
I just went out and popped her up and they are not seals that are attached to the box but are seals that are attached to the end of the bed.....interior inside of bed....underneath on the edge.......so you can only see them from the inside of the popup. Do you think we could fabricate something? They have lost their flexibility and do not bend as well thereby leaving gaps where you can see outside...........

There is a replacement part number of 0214567 TRIM,ANG TEAK .50X1.00X087.00

The picture shows it as 7 inches long, but its actually .5 inches wide, by 1 inch tall, by 87 inches long.
