No cold water
I have a 2006 1207. When using the city water connection, the hot water flows good but the cold water is barely a trickle. It has done this before and would start working on its on, (or if I did something I'm not sure what) but not this time. I have taken the in line water filter out thinking it was clogged but no change. Thanks for any suggestions.

Check all valves to see if one is not open all the way, or you have some sort of obstruction

Oops! Got to be something in the lines. Do you have a screen on the sink faucet? If so check it for debris.
Otherwise do what you did before to fix it!

There is no debris. So I guess I will start taking water line loose until I find the problem. Fun Fun!

I would try to blow some air through the lines with a compressor, no more than 40psi just like winterizing. As Norty said sound like something in the lines.

Sounds odd. If you put water I m the FW tank and use the pump, do you have water flow? If so the problem is between the tee to the water heater and the main water line the pump ties in at. On your PU that has to be a short distance. There should be no check valves or any thing, in that section. Could part of the check valve broken loose and got stuck?

Do you have the same issue with shower or other cold water port? If your screen was restricted, then hot and cold would behave the same. If the problem is in your valve stem, then that would explain cold only problem. Have you checked the valve stem in the faucet? If I understand the issue, the restriction must be between the split at the heater and the point of dispensing. While I have not worked on a lot of Jaycos, there are very few bottlenecks that are likely to clog. I would suggest starting at the valve stem and work back upstream.

I put a new faucet on it last year so the valve stem is fine. I am going to try putting water in the tank and pumping it out and see how that works. I blew the lines out last fall in prep for winter but I am going to try again before taking the lines apart. Those are some good suggestions Thanks everybody!

Sounds like a bad cold water valve to me. The only things it could be is..a broken line, a bad valve or an obstruction.

I would agree with pop up pilot
Since you have no problem with the hot water.
Have you checked the cold water flow at the outside shower?
Try discounting the cold water supply line at the sink and see what kind of flow you are getting You will want to place the hose in a gallon jug or a pot so as to avoid much of a mess.

I have located the problem, It is the new Glacier Bay faucet that I put on last summer. I'm not sure whats wrong with it (other than it being a cheap piece of crap) and not sure how to fix it. This thing has nylon or plastic stems! This is the 2nd new item that I've bought for this camper that has been defective! Any way Thanks for all the tips it certainly helped track down the problem.

You need a bigger rv, then it will be easier to troubleshoot!
Thanks for telling us the solution.
