pop up trailer BBQ set up

I am looking for a BBQ that will attach to my out side stovetop rail on my 2007 Jayco J Series. I want to be able to use the same propane gas line. Any suggestions? Thanks Jeff

I looked for one that would attach to the cleat for my cook top on 1206 PUP as well....found a couple that they claimed would use the cleat, but found that the clearance wasn't there for the lid opening operation without buying an additional stand that hooked on to the cleat but extended further out with some bracing legs that went back to the sidewall of the trailer. Opted for a table top unit to go along with the cook top unit outside. I thought about fabricating a custom connector to feed both stations with the existing line for the cook top, but then decided on just getting a 5lb extra propane tank just for the table top grill......this works out perfect. I position a 4'folding metal table in close proximity to the cook top hanging on the camper and that gives me a nice compact outdoor cooking kitchen with work space.

I am really pleased with this table top grill/smoker unit. It cooks like a charm...it's small enough to move about easily, perfect for the two of us yet big enough for when my daughter and grandkids join us...

I use a Coleman Road Trip grill and a Weber Q series. The Coleman I modded to use the low pressure port on the camper. Works great. I don't use the rail on the side at all. In fact I ditched the stock stove in order to have more counterspace. Eventually I plan to use the cleat for a table/countertop system on the backside of the camper so I can have a dedicated wash station.

The Weber is easy to convert to use the low pressure port as well. You just unscrew the stock regulator, and screw on a hose from what I have heard.

This system gives me a fair amount of utility, as the Road Trip has grill plates, griddles and a stove insert. I prefer grilling on the Weber though, but in a pinch the Road Trip does a fine job as well, there just isn't much room if you close the lid.

I just picked up a Camp Chef Weekender stove, and I might start using it and the Weber instead, and just bring the Road Trip on longer stays or if I am cooking for a lot of people.
