I am priming my cabinets right now!
Hello,
I just came inside from the PUP, I have been refurbishing my 1994 Jayco 1207 for about 10 months. I have a ton of pictures, but sadly haven't uploaded most of them yet. I did however put a few relevant to your question on Photobucket right now. I hope I can figure out how to post them here.
After a lot of Internet research, I have chosen to use Zinsser Bullseye 123 primer on my faux wood contact paper cabinets. You should NOT try to paint contact paper without it. It is very thick and brushes or rolls on very well to the contact paper!!
I cleaned them well with orange cleaner, and then went to work on them. The following pics are a before and after (primer only). Tomorrow morning I will be painting the 1st coat of high gloss white Behr latex, to maximize the feeling of open space inside. I will send more pics of the finished job later this week.
Hope this helps you!

Ps I can't seem to upload multiple pics, so I added the link to my photobucket folder
