Replacing bed rails on 2011 jay series 1007

Hi all,

After doing some searches I have not been able to find instructions for DIY replacement of a bed rail. I just bought a used jayco jay series 1007 and love it but there is a slight torque/bend in the rear bed rails which makes it hard to extend the bed. Can someone explain how or link me to instructions on how to replace the bed rails on a jayco pop up.

Thank you in advance.

Any Jayco dealer can order the replacement bed rails, which in my case were identical on each side of the bed. They just cost me $35.00/rail for my '08 1206 after a bone-headed move on my part on a newly acquired trailer (sat on the bed before I put the support rods underneath). Get a helper to hold the end of the bed, remove two nuts that limit how far you can slide the bed out-mine had an allen screw on each inboard side of each rail. There is a hole drilled in each track that will expose the bolts at full bed extension on the interior end of each rail. Then, with your helper (in my case, my wife) slide the bed (not heavy but bulky) out of the trailer and carry it to a convenient place to r & r the rails. One side rail had different spacers than the other, so replace them one side at a time as to not get mixed up.

They are easy to replace, I would replace the rollers as well when you are doing it they are cheap.
