Rip in screen window mesh...

I have a 2" rip in my window mesh, caused by the bed rails snagging it when I was raising the unit.

Other than duct tape, has anyone performed a repair? what did you use?
Any recommendations? Luckily it did not rip the plastic window itself.

Back in my tent camping days we always used sewing thread and then coated the repair with glue (epoxy).

I too have glued some small tears using RTV glue.

I think the TENT section of WALMART has some repair kits as well for window screens.
