roof latches

I am going to be replacing the roof latches on my jayco eagle and was wondering what kind of sealant I need to use behind the new latches so I don't have any leaks through the screw holes.

I would recommend either Novaflex or Proflex RV.

I would call a local RV repair shop and ask them.

John, I'm not familiar with Novaflex; I looked it up, but there are several types. Which type(s) are used for RV's and what are they used for? How are they different from Proflex or the Dicors? Do you like a Novaflex better in some cases than Proflex or one of the Dicors?

Thanks. I'm always looking for the perfect caulk.

RV Silicone Sealant Adhesive for maintenance repair of campers, 5th wheels, motorhomes, Pop-ups

Well.. came out at the show last year. Very similar to Proflex RV, but offered in about 15 different colors. IMO, little easier to work with then Proflex, same applications. I stock the Proflex, and its what I measure all the others by.

I still use Dicor on the roofs, Proflex on the rest.
