set up question

This question came up while talking with my wife. We have a home built teardrop camper that we love and it is great, especially when you have to drive long distance. We can just hop out and climb in to sleep without having to set up anything. Is there a way to put the top of the 1207 we have up and sleep on the beds and have the camper "bug tight"? Or would this damage the slides the 2 beds are on? If the bed of my truck was lower I could just slide the bed out, but it would hit the tail gate right mow.

I would not recommend using a pup without it fully set up.

How would you ever use it?

don't the tent ends attach to the bed on Jaycos? how would you attach it

where would you be stopping to sleep in the pup hooked up?

If we could/can do this, we would only be sleeping on the beds

the bed ends are designed to be supported by the end walls of the trailer and the support bars to the frame. You would be relying on the sides of the bed ends in the track. Could work or could fall down as well.
