Thetford Cassette Toliet

OK.. We have a Jayco 1406 Popup which we love however, we drink a lot of beer and use the Thetford cassette toliet frequently. It seems that I have to empty the cassette every day. Do they make a modification that I can attach so that I have more waste space. I see they have some kind on their web site that are on wheels but how would you attach it?

The cassette should hold about 5 gallons of beer. I am not aware of any mod to increase the capacity of the tank. You could buy a tote and dump the tank into that instead of at the dumpstation or bathroom.

Sorry Dave
Not having enough toilet / cassette space does suck.

Maybe you could upgrade from cassettes to 8-tracks???

Buahh ha ha ha

Sorry couldn't resist.
I think you are right though the tote thing sounds like your best bet if Mother Nature is too well illuminated at night.

I have this style cassette potty in my off-road popup. It has a 6-gallon removal cassette with wheels which allows me to tote it the bath house and pour down their toilet...

We flush ours until the flush runs out of water and that tells us the cassette is full. Then we pull out the cassette and tote it off to the restroom and pour down their toilet...

There is no way you can modify this. everything goes into the cassette... My POPUP trailer only has a FRESH WATER TANK. I have to capture all of our waste sink water and carry off to the bath house and pour down their toilet.

We only use our cassette pottie just for number 1 and do a standup wash-up at the sink to bathe. Never did a shower using the cassette shower combo as there is only enough room inside it to just sit on the pottie stool and do a sit-down shower with a hand spigot.

I am assuming this is not a JOKE post...

Those cassette potties are not for heavy usage...

No Joke thread.. That's the same system I have except I do have a grey water tank.. We use a hose to run our water from the sink on the ground. Campground has no problem with this.. My cassette however doesn't have wheels and the campground doesn't want us to pour in their septic system, so I gave to cart it to the dump station.

Ever thought of using a pee bottle? I boondock a lot and that helps me save space in my holding tank... (dont empty the 2L bottle till its full)
