Valve and low point drain questions

ID:	9804Hi,

What is the low point drain used for? Just clear source lines of water. No gray water, right?

Secondly,

I found 3 valves under the sink.
I assume you pull them up to open them. Please look at the attached pix.
The Yellow arrow points to the source tank.
When I pulled them up a minor amount of clear water came out of the low drain point.
Is the purpose of these valves just to drain the lines?

Thanks Jay

The low point drains are used to drain your water lines. Open them by pulling them up, then open your hot and cold water at the sink (s) and showers, being the lowest point all the lines should then drain.

I use them for when the camper is going to be sitting for an extended period. Dry lines won't get skanky.

One is for hot, one is for cold, I suspect the third is for warm.......lol. Just kidding...not sure why you have a third.

Is it attached to a open end hose? If so it is used to take antifreeze into the system for the winter.
