we bought our pop up in late September. the dealer did not want it sitting on the lot all winter and told us to make an offer. we made an offer and it was accepted and got an incredible deal. it helped that the dealer had 3 identical pop ups on the lot so he was not looking forward to having that inventory all winter. if you have a trade, that may not be as good because then the dealer may not be able to sell it in the winter so might not get as good a deal. we did not have a trade so it worked for us. so if the dealer has a lot of inventory going into winter they might be more willing to give a better price , its worked for us a few times!!

Used market is always better in the off season
I just bought a repo from my bank last week who said they were firm on their price.
My banker said,"you can make an offer all the boss can do is say no".
I pointed out what time of year it is and made them an offer thinkinking they would come back with a counter offer.
Nope they took my first offer.
I saw the paper work and they lost money big time.
I really think if this had been in May I wouldn't have gotten such a good deal.

Now is a good time, look for "new" 2013's, most dealers want them gone to make room for the 2014's.

Just bought my new 2014.... I was amazed at the price they made on it...and when they accepted to go lower after my offer...

I went to 2 other dealers who had the same model but 2013s... and they were both $3000 higher....made no sense to me to buy a 2013....

Maybe it helped that the 2014 had just got in from the factory..only stayed on their lot for 4 days!
