Winterize 2008 Jayco Jay Series 1007 Help

So it's my first time storing my popup.
So we have never used the fresh water storage tank. The previous owner have never used it either. All we ever did was use city water, hot water tank and outside shower.

What are some things I need to do?

Open up all low point water valves
Drain the hot water tank.
Blow out lines with compressed air.

Do I really need to add RV antifreeze if I blow out the lines?

I never used the water pump 12v.

Seems easy enough but don't want to screw it up.

I purchased a new ADCO cover to keep safe.

Any tips would be appreciated.

We bought our 1007 in 2009 used 2 years. I do think it's necessary and here's why. When we first went to use our outdoor shower, the plastic mixer was cracked. Perhaps they didn't blow out the lines but for the time and money, I winterize with RV antifreeze.

For me, the hardest part was recognizing that it didn't come with a hot water tank bypass kit despite the owner's manual indicating it did. That's a big deal....no point in filling the hot water tank with RV antifreeze.

My wife and I do this as a team. First, we bypass the hot water thank. Then, I make sure the valves in the under-seat area where the pump is located are turned to accept the antifreeze. We usually start with the shower. We open up the valves outside, turn on the pump, and feed in antifreeze until it can be seen coming out the showerhead. Then we turn off the shower and close it up. Then we do the same for the sink. Lastly, I lift up the sink and poor antifreeze down the drain until it comes to the top so the pipe to the outside has antifreeze in it. Overkill? Perhaps. But I can buy 2 gallons for $6 and that's cheap insurance.
