We went to take the RV out to get gas today. When I got to the storage facility, I found that the dealer hadn't plugged in the motorcoach when they returned it after repairs. I usually have it plugged into a 15 amp trickle charge that the storage facility provides. The house batteries were still over 12V when I checked. The problem is I tried to start the coach and it was dead, no turnover of the engine. We just had it out less than 2 weeks ago for a camping trip with no problem. The coach is only 4 months old, I'm surprised that the battery went dead so quickly after a recent long distance trip. Does the trickle charge also keep the engine battery topped off? Nothing was on, the battery disconnect was off, and the house batteries were fine. It was just the engine battery that was dead. Thanks for any thoughts on the issue.
