Hi Bob - Real sorry we'll miss the get together in September. We'll be in SC. Maybe run into you again next winter?
Here's how we manage our A/Cs:
We usually run just the front until the coach is cooled down. Since we store inside, the interior temperature is never really too bad, even here in Florida). When driving, if needed, we run just the front.
Then we operate the unit that is NOT where we are (primarily because of the noise). So if we are parked and in front, we'll run the bedroom unit, close off the vents back there to push air forward. At night we run the front unit with some of those vents closed, (but do leave the fan on in the bedroom to move air). I prefer that rather than hearing the bedroom A/C kick on & off all night.
When we are out, we'll run the front unit with back unit set to kick on, only if it gets too warm back there, or in the rare case that the front unit were to quit (has never happened), to keep the dog cool.
