I went out and set it up!! I will see tomorrow if I did it right and it actually worked. LOL
I hooked up the panels and controller to the batteries today. Where should I have the controller mounted? Since my panels are portable, not sure if it makes sense to have it inside, but then again, is it weatherproof. For today, I just stuck it in the pass through and closed the door on the wires making sure there wasn't any compression.
Sometime this week, I will pick up cables so I can add in the monitor. (bayite DC 6.5-100V 0-100A LCD Display Digital Current Voltage Power Energy Meter Multimeter Ammeter Voltmeter with 100A Current Shunt)
What about fuses? Should I have some in there somewhere?
The small inverter and 12v fan will be here this week so I can hopefully watch a little tv while enjoying a cool breeze.
Still saving up for the hard-wire inverter and transfer switch. Baby steps.....
