- I am a newbie to this form of travel. Waited until I was 63 to take this step and I am looking forward to this adventure!!! After college I became a Viet Nam Era vet for 14 years where I was able to earn my MBA. Besides the U.S. Army, I work in NY and Indiana before retiring in Virginia where I live with my wife, Dorothy. I have four grown daughters
