| East gateway into Custer State Park and passes through parts of Black Hills National Forest and Mt. Rushmore National Monument. One of many wooden bridges along the Peter Norbeck Scenic Byway. An absolute MUST SEE if you ever find yourself near Mount Rushmore. WARNING...NOT for long rigs. We did this in our Yukon XL pulling our Jayco 26BHS (29 feet), we navigated the road well enough. Very winding, I would not take a 5th wheel on this path. That said, you are missing an incredible site if you don't tour this road when in the area. |
