This is what I would refer to as the North wall. The wall separating your batteries/propane from the interior of the trailer. This cargo area in ours and many floor plans is a nice large, under the bed, pass through space. I reinforced the North wall with an old piece of 1/2" plywood, sanded and painted white and affixed to three existing vertical supports inside the wall with wood screws. That's the ME inverter/charger and a 400 amp in-line fuse for the positive line between the ME and the positive post of the battery bank. Many may question as to why I chose a 3000 watt. Reality is the greatest wattage most of us really can use efficiently is a 1,500 - 2,000 watt inverter, and with only four batteries, 3,000 watt is pushing it (I previously used a 1,000 watt). The answer to "why 3,000 watts?" is that is the lowest watt inverter manufactured by Magnum Energy, that uses the "Hybrid" technology. See Album Description. |
