Jayfeather 19H Roof Rebuild
I'm rebuilding the roof of my travel trailer and wanted to share some pictures of the project here.
The new "Brite-Ply" EPDM membrane is installed. Next I need to get the front and rear seams patched and closed.
The new plywood has been installed. There's styrofoam insulation between that and the interior ceiling layer.
Installed HDPE (known as "puckboard" because they use it to line hockey rinks) for my new ceiling. This stuff isn't gonna rot!
Installed new braces into the frame
A big day - I finally managed to remove the aluminum frame!
Some of the rot from the top side
Most of the old roof has been cut away
Rot around the antenna. I think this and the A/C were both leaking.
Started ripping out the old roof
Got the awning, AC and vent covers off.
An interior view showing some of the rot
