MaxxFan Deluxe Installation
Added model #7000K to our Whitehawk
The fan is centered in the coach and does a great job in both forward or reverse.
Another angle.
Let's in light when open, less when closed.
Here she is...
Jayco factory wiring...not the tidiest job...
I removed the false cabinet wall behind our main control panel so I could run dedicated power to the fan. I fished it through the existing, shoddy...
Before. The coach was framed for an optional fan here, but not wired.
Started with a small pilot hole to reach in and feel for any wires or obstructions.
After cutting out the luan, moving wires and removing batt insulation.
Scored the roof material with a utility knife after drilling pilot holes through each corner from inside the trailer.
Flange down with butyl tape, ready for screws and Dicor.
Completed install in the open/raised position.
Mounting flange screwed in with first bead of lap sealant.
After cutting away the 3/8" plywood.
All done.
Like the low profile.
Fresh Dicor, to be covered with Eternabond when cured.
