Our average speed was 60 to 65 MPH until we hit the mountains. Then it was 70-75 downhill and 50 to 60 uphill. We coasted most of the time going downhill. My wife actually gets better mileage than me. I think she drives it better than me on occasions also. I was pleasantly surprised by those numbers considering the 100 miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway. 20 to 25 and white knuckle driving because of all the turns, hills and lack of sufficient lane size. The lanes were only 9 ft wide. We did not tow anything.
