An example is the LED lights on the front. They are just stuck on with double sided tape. Jayco also had one button leveling. Really nice but an expensive option. I can live without that if the trailer is built better. Yes I have had a couple of issues with the GD but one email to the factory and the new parts are on the way.
What I can recommend is go spend some time in each unit. more than just a walk though. Sit a while and look around. Open all the drawers and look everywhere. Preferably without the salesman.
Read this site and the GD owners site. Remember people seem to stress the negative. There is a thread here about a major factory error with the slide but I wonder how the trailer got though all those times with no one noticing. Look it up under 5th wheels.
Good luck on your search and enjoy the process. We got the GD 337RLS Reflection.
Let me know if I can help.
Hello. We went though the same process as you just a short time ago. We had decided on a Jayco Eagle 5th wheel and started the paper work. I did not have an easy feeling. We had been in the GD Reflection and really like them. I went back to visit the GD and brought my wife as well. Hands down difference with the GD compared to the Eagle. We like the Eagle but when I compared the two, Jayco seemed to put the money in the add-ons and not the construction.
