- We live in Troy, NY. My husband Jim, is a retired career Army Officer, currently working for NYS. I work as an office manager for a division of Pearson Education. Between us we have 5 kids, 6 grand kids and one great-grand daughter. We are also owned by one Lab, 3 Dachshunds and 3 cats. Our last cat we found on our first camping trip and now I travel with an empty cage- just in case.
