Hey Silver -- You and I basically have the same setup -- X213 (2016) and F150 FX4 crew with max payload and tow package. We have the same problem with excess tongue weight. Did you ever find any solutions? I want to bring bikes, too, but am finding myself very limited. Any insights you've got would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I saw your comment on the bike rack. Would you have photos you could share of your setup? We also have the X213 and now that the girls are old enough to bike, we want to start bringing their bikes along. We have just kind of placed them in the fold up area and haven't even thought about ours. DH has been debating on what to do long term - modify to hold off the back bumper, a rack above the front tanks or only have the kids bikes and figure out how to mount them inside.
