glad you found what probably is your problem. if you take the screws out you'll probably find them rusted. some of mine were just heads. you can get putty tape locally maybe if you want to replace it. if not just caulk with something flexable. I got new screws and snap in screw cover on ebay. epoxy will work, I only had about 6 square feet that was'nt spongy, so I had no choice. by gutting the whole trailer except for the fridge cabinet, I was able to clean every single piece before re-assembly. I even cleaned and bleached up inside the toilet ! as it's only 3 years old and now is clean . I didn't find any bugs or mouse dirt anywhere...are you sitting down ? I did find SMALL WORMS IN THE SOAKED FLOOR...sorry I had to vent haha I think what you're going to do is fine...for me at 66, I think my small leaks won't make a difference, if I even keep it. I paid $1900 for it and probably could get $ 4000 to $5000 but i'll decide after a few new England trips. keep in touch and thanks, BOB
