I am new to this forum and my wife and I have been looking at Jayco for awhile. We are preparing to retire soon and would like to travel the USA.. We have never owned an RV before and have been looking and researching for close to 3 years now. Recently we test drove a 2016 Percept 31UL.. we like it, we like the way it handles.. We are thinking of ordering a 2017 and I have a question or 2. Have any of you had trouble or concerns regarding the batteries and propane tank in the same compartment? I noticed there is no ladder to the roof, why is that? I guess we would need to buy one and store it the basement. How well does the 31UL handle mountains? We want to tour the West and have some concerns. Please forgive the long post.. We are excited to get started and appreciate any and all input.. Thank you..
