Thanks, Jeff. I sent you a note to your email. In case you missed it or it got caught in an email filter, here is my direct email: clien1@rochester.rr.com

I would love to see a video of the couch in action as well as how you fastened it to the platform.

RV Seating and RV Furniture - Shop4Seats.com

Lead time is around three weeks. i picked mine up at their factory near Los angeles- saved shipping cost. They have a showroom there also. They will send swatches of materials.instead of a couch you could install two separate recliners also. I prefer the couch- i have slept on it several times myself. Also has a center storage box and i put an electrical receptacle box in the storage for ipad or iphone power. I also aded the swivel tables on both arms and they do have wine glass holders also. Recliners are much nicer for watching tv. With the slide in the recliner foot rest just misses the galley cabinetry. Best dingle upgrade that I have made to date.

Make sure power comes from a circuit on the inverter so you can recline when not on shore power or generator. One of the power plugs under main tv is on the inverter. There is a box with receptacles - pull out pot and pan drawer for access. Run romax into the box and wire nut inside. Had to screw down couch right on the forward edge of the platform. New couch comes in three sections to fit through door.

I bought the couch from shop4seats.com. It has two electric recliners built in on either end of the couch. We dismantled the original couch and removed it in pieces- what a piece of junk. New couch just fit on the existing platform. Screwed it down to the platform. Ran 110 volt wiring over to power i believe under the rv over to power under the big tv. Mine also has heated seats which work well also. I had a marine electrician here in Orange County calif help me install the couch. Cost me$350. Couch is built custom to features and fabrics. Yes the couch fully reclines- recliners slide forward as it reclines - only needs a few inches behind the couch to fully recline. If you got manual recline this would eliminate the electrical work to install to 110 volt power.
