I had a 313RKS for 4 years and tow with a Chev 2007 2500HD duramax. Pulled it over the mountains every year we had it. The 2500HD had lots of power and handled the trailer fine

Unfortunitly you were sold something that isn't true. But based on the experience I had with my first Jayco I don't think I would worry too much. We used ours 4 summers and 1winter. Warranty issues...
