I own a Jayco and belong to the Starcraft Club here in Ohio. There is a chapter in Virginia. Not sure how active they are but we have monthly campouts and really have a great time. starcraftrvclub.com

I cranked down the jacks on our 26RLS by hand...

I cranked down the jacks on our 26RLS by hand once, and that is all it took to buy the bit to fit my cordless drill. Now the jacks are up and down in less than 5 minutes.

We used the egg crate foam from our pop up in our 26RLS. Turned a so-so mattress into a mighty comfy mattress. IMO, try that before you drop a wad of cash on a new mattress. You might be satisfied.

No, we stayed with the Hemi. We don't tow enough to justify the $8000 option for the diesel. We traded in a 1500 and the Hemi has plenty of power, just not enough payload.
