The new latches do not seem very durable to me. When I posted pics of my 2017 x23b someone noted the 2 steps. I guess the new model does sit up higher.

New latches-they are convenient however the poles that run from the handle up to the latches are in the way both on opening, can't get you hands in there to open the front bunk, and closing, can't...

Just brought home my new 2017 x23b, copper decor looks great, 15 LED lights inside (I think they added some for 2017), solar prep. I like the lighter gray exterior too.
Not crazy about the new bunk...

I may be a day late but I would say don't buy the pilot! We just came back from or first trip with x17a, TV a 2012 jeep Cherokee (5000#) limit with WDH. Pulls just fine 49mph and less but 50 high...
