Slide out floor

I know I saw this somewhere, but why is it bad to step on the edge of the slide out floor when it is retracted? It's difficult not to.

We went with the Flight because it had the vent fan in the bathroom and not just a skylight and also the water heater was gas and electric not just gas. There are many appearance differences as well.

We ordered the Jayflight 24rbs. We love the layout with the u-shaped dinette and the large bathroom. Also, the queen bed is longer and my 6'6" husband actually fits on the bed without his feet...

Thank you everyone for the feedback. It will mainly be adults using the camper. The dealer has one with the leatherette on the lot. I prefer the cloth but we'll have to see what difference the price...

We are close to ordering a Jayfeather 23RLSW and have a choice of leatherette material for the sofa and benches or cloth. Any thoughts? The leatherette looks easy to keep clean but does it hold up?

We like the Starcraft but it is more expensive. It also does not have a window to the right of the couch which we really like on the Jayfeather. But the Starcraft has great windows around the dinette...

2014 X17A in time for Christmas

Just took delivery of our X17A and we're extremely excited. Want to take it out for New Years Eve but keep it winterized.
Will probably try it out at Brown County State Park in Indiana.

I'm surprised that this Adco cover fits the 17Z so well. The Z has a length of 18'6" and the cover says it goes up to 18'. Am I missing something? Also, what do you do about the antenna on the roof?

Glad we're not the only ones to order a 2014 17A without actually seeing one in person. We did a lot of virtual tours on the internet. We went through the Z several times at the dealer and loved it...
