You're right, the testing is not done with a trailer attached, only with a hitch installed.
There are other tests other than crash tests ... frame twist/torque, lever effect from the hitch, etc...

Tandem Axle Leveler
I have an Eagle 14SO.
I was wondering if anyone made a leveler such as the BAL Leveler but for tandem axles.
I'm tired of driving back and forth on wood or the "lego" blocks.

New (to us) 14SO
We just bought a 2004 Eagle 14SO.
Wow! this thing is HUGE!
It pulls like a dream, no sway up to 70mph.
Can't wait to go camping!
I'll post pics once we get it all set up
