I see lots of small changes in the 2016 jay series. Jayco has done away with there internal lift system, a system they bragged about for years and was only available on their top of the line pop-ups....

It looks to me like the bunk end pole is bowed. When you lay the pole down on the mattress it should be strait, or flat against mattress. If it is not flat then it had been damaged and bent.

Your thermostat is calling for heat if the fan is running. If it was 75 in camper and you had thermostat turn all the way down, the fan should not run. Replace your thermostat.
