There is a sail switch on the exhaust. Could it be possible that it is stuck closed? Try moving it with your finger to make sure it is freely moving back and forth.

I have used the Blue Ox KarGard II for 2 years...

I have used the Blue Ox KarGard II for 2 years with great results. Easy to install and does a great job of protecting our Honda CR-V. Kind of expensive but would highly recommend.

Oops. I happened to recheck our 37TS and found that the access panel for the slide motor is actually in the top of the 2nd storage bay on the passenger side. Sorry for giving you some wrong info.

Pretty sure there is an access panel in the top of the forward storage bay for the slide motor. Here's hoping that you never need to use it.

Look in your Honda's owners manual about "Recreational Towing". I believe your CR-V should be towable 4 wheels down. We tow a 2011 Honda CR-V with auto trans and AWD with no problems. Have towed it...
