I have the same problem on my Greyhawk. Almost looks to be rust where water has gotten into cracks in the caulk/sealant and rusted the molding covered metal trim underneath.

I use an extension ladder lying against the cap with split pool noodles on the ladder to protect from scratches.

I have had similar problems since my Greyhawk was new. Sometimes they won't either retract or extend fully. Regular lubricant on the hinge mechanism resolves for me.

NC Roamer - make sure you didn't inset a blue ray disc, if so you will get an invalid disc message. Has to be DVD.

That may be the problem. The water filter under the kitchen sink has valves which were closed. Hopefully that works, I will check tomorrow. Thanks for the input.

Starting the second season with our Greyhawk and for some reason I am unable to get water into the unit. No matter what the setting the water valves are on (city fill, city fixtures...) no water...

Tank heaters falling off

Have had our 2014 greyhawk 31FS for a year now and the tank heaters are peeling off. Reapplied with automotive spray adhesive. I would keep an eye on them so they don't end up dragging the ground...

Might try lubricating. Mine tend to be louder between lubes which could indicate potential for sticking if if sat for a while.
